I am an economist with a passion for data-driven research. I currently work for the Internal Revenue Service valuing intangible property exchanged in transfer pricing transactions among multinational enterprises. Previously I was an economist at Welch Consulting, where I relied upon econometric methodologies to defend clients in class action labor disputes. I received my B.A. from Boston College, and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Irvine. During my doctoral studies my research focused on the form and function of labor markets, and spanned the fields of economic demography, labor economics, applied microeconomics and economic history. My hobbies include ice hockey, hiking and international travel.
